The LaboratorySupplyStore.com website is operated by HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd, our head office is located in Singapore. As a user of this website, you acknowledge that any use of this website, including placing orders to purchase products from HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd, is subject to the terms and conditions set out below. Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before using this website. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, please do not use this site.

1. General

The contents of LaboratorySupplyStore.com, including these terms and conditions, are subject to change by us at any time without notification. Any such changes will take effect when posted on the website and it is your responsibility to read the terms and conditions on each occasion you use the website. Your continued use of the website shall signify your acceptance to be bound by the latest terms and conditions.
HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd grants you a limited license to access and make personal use of this site and not to download or modify it, or any portion of it, except with the express written consent of HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd. This license does not include any derivative use of this site or its contents or any use of data mining, robots, or similar data gathering and extraction tools.
You may not frame or utilise framing techniques to enclose any trademark, logo, or other proprietary information (including images, text, page layout, or form) of HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd / or its affiliates without the express written consent of HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd.

2. Type of Service

The Services provided by HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd include the following:
1) Developing and operating Electronic Commerce Platform, including:
Supporting sales-related activities;
Supporting purchase-related activities;
Arranging purchases and sales of goods or services
Providing search engine regarding information on goods or services; and
Other electronic commerce related services; and
2) Enforcing and promoting advertisements.

The scope of the Services is limited to the provision of marketplace for customers to carry out transactions with the HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd.

3. Member Access and Security

Customers and partners of HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd are given access certain information on LaboratorySupplyStore.com site. You are entirely responsible for maintaining confidentiality of your password and account. Furthermore, you are entirely responsible for any and all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd immediately of any unauthorised use of your account or any breach of security. HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd will not be liable for any loss that you may incur as a result of someone else using your password or account, either with or without your knowledge. You may not use any of the trademarks in any manner without the prior written consent of HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd. Any unauthorised use is expressly prohibited by law and violators will be prosecuted.

5. Website Integrity

As a condition of the HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd website, you will not use the HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd website for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these terms and conditions. HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd does not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted or secure access to our service. 7. Termination / Access Restriction

HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate or limit your access to any or all of LaboratorySupplyStore.com or any portion thereof at any time, without notice. Access to account setup is currently denied for users located in or associated with Afghanistan, Pakistan, Belarus, Burma, Congo, Yugoslavia , Serbia, Iran, Iraq, Ivory Coast, Lebanon, Syria, Liberia, North Korea, Sudan, Zimbabwe, Terrorist Financing and the Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia. These restrictions are subject to change at the discretion of HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd.
You must be at least 18 years of age or a business entity that has the ability to use the Company’s purchase service to transact any business with HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd or to submit any Personal Information to HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd. As such, if you transact any business with HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd or submit or attempt to submit any Personal Information to HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd, you affirmatively represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and that you possess the legal right to use the HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd website in accordance with the terms and usage policies. The terms and conditions of use of this website are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore and any dispute will be resolved in the Courts of the Republic of Singapore.

    • 10. Order Placement and Charges

    Registering on LaboratorySupplyStore.com is free to eligible subscribers. You may purchase any products provided on the site, at the prices designated on the site, by adding a product to a basket and choosing to proceed to payment.

    On registering with LaboratorySupplyStore.com, HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd requires a period of time to process customer accounts. This process involves, but is not limited to, collating the registration information and authorising the relevant customer-specific discounts and complimentary services. If you proceed to payment and complete an order prior to this integration, the order will be charged with all general duties applied and without any customer-specific discounts.

    The shipping and handling charges for orders received from outside of Singapore are based on the destination location and the total weight of the ordered. The rates will only be calculated upon receiving the order. Our customer service officer will forward you the Total Amount to be paid to HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd.     All prices displayed on LaboratorySupplyStore.com are exclusive of GST. For all orders received from within the Republic of Singapore, 7% GST is added excluding instances where a GST exemption has been received. Please note that if claiming GST/VAT exemption, HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd require a copy of the Exemption Certificate from the Revenue Commissioners. HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd requires a GST/VAT registration number. Registration certificates can be faxed to +65 6777 0500 or emailed service@LaboratorySupplyStore.com) to HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd’s customer service department.

    11. Product Delivery

    HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd endeavours that all products ordered from within the Republic of Singapore shall be shipped by HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd using our authorised carrier and will be delivered to your designated delivery location by the close of business the day following the placement of the order. Our authorised carrier has a standard delivery time of 1-2 days. Any delay in delivery times will be notified by phone or email. Delivery times on orders received from outside the Republic of Singapore will vary subject to the designated delivery location.

    Although HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd attempts to ensure that the inventory of products visible on LaboratorySupplyStore.com are in stock, you acknowledge that sporadically certain products, apparent on the site, will not be available at time of shipment. If an order cannot be shipped in its entirety by the close of business the day following the placement of the order, HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd will promptly notify you, and provide an estimated shipment date for those items which are unavailable.
    Immediately upon receipt of products shipped hereunder, you must inspect all products and notify HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd in writing of any claims for order or shipping errors, shortages, defects or damages and shall hold any such goods for HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd written instructions concerning disposition. If you fail to notify HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd within ten (10) days after receipt of products, the products shall conclusively be deemed to conform to the terms provided herein and shall be irrevocably accepted by you.

    12. Payment for Products Ordered

    On registering with LaboratorySupplyStore.com you must indicate if you intend to transact using a credit card. In this instance, the address you enter in the registration process must match your credit card billing address. Credit card details entered during transaction processes are not recorded directly on LaboratorySupplyStore.com but rather are verified and validated by HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd designated payment service provider PayPal. This validation procedure includes comparison of your registered address to that registered against the credit card.
    To avail of a cheque payment and credit term you must complete and submit the ‘Credit Application Form”. Upon submitting an application, a successful applicant will be contacted and issued an appropriate credit term. Customers availing of the credit account with HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd must quote a valid Purchase Order (PO) number with every credit transaction. HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd shall issue an invoice to you for all orders.
    If you only transact using an authorised credit card and it is rejected for any reason, your order will not be processed and you will be notified. The amount of payment due shall be that amount reflected in each order at time of order placement, comprised of the price of products ordered (at the time of order placement), applicable shipping charges, and applicable taxes reflected in the order.
    Credit card orders will be shipped in one complete consignment. Orders placed on account may be part shipped at the discretion of HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd.
    Unless otherwise agreed to by HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd, in a written contract with you, payment shall be due promptly upon the provision of ordered products to our authorised shipper. Unless otherwise agreed to by HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd, in a written contract, you are obliged to provide payment for goods ordered within 30 days of invoice.
    HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd reserves the right to collect interest at a rate of 2% above the current associated bank AAA rate when payment remains outstanding after 30 days from invoice date.

    13. Incomplete Transactions and Cancellation Orders

    1. Termination prior to Shipment : You may cancel an order prior to pickup by authorised shipper. In such case, no payment will be due
    2. Termination Subsequent to Shipment and prior to Acceptance : Subsequent to pickup by the authorised shipper, but prior to acceptance of products, as provided above, you may cancel an order by contacting HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd. HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd will provide you with disposition instructions, and may charge you for shipping expenses and restocking fees
    3. Returns after Acceptance : After the acceptance period has expired, product returns shall be governed by the warranty and return policies set forth below

    14. Product Returns

    All returns, replacements, technical services and support shall be handled by HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd’s customer service department. Products may be returned to HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd within 30 days for replacement or adjustment. To ensure prompt handling, you must obtain a Return Goods Authorisation Number (“RGA number”) from HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd and reference this number on return shipping documents. Returns made without the RGA number will be returned to you. All returned goods must be received in their original packaging and without additional writing / labelling / stickers applied.
    HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd reserves the right to reverse any credit issued to you:
    1. for any product not returned after authorization and requested by HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd; or
    2. if, upon return, such product is determined by HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd not to be defective.
    HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd will grant full credit for:
    1. Products not supplied in accordance with your orders; and,
    2. Products which are defective at the time of receipt.
    Hazardous materials authorized for return must be packed, labeled and shipped in accordance with regulations governing transportation of hazardous materials and any other applicable requirements.
    HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd will not grant credit for:

  • Products which have been discontinued;
  • Products which are personalized or customized;
  • Non-HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd line products supplied to you as an accommodation, including, without limitation, third party purchases;
  • Products not purchased from HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd;
  • Refrigerated or temperature controlled products;
  • Products which are outdated, shelf-worn, used or defaced and, therefore, unsuitable for return to stock and resale as new;
  • Reagents, diagnostics, or chemicals which have been opened; or
  • Any returned item deemed unfit for resale due to customer actions

    • Product returns for products ordered / returned in error are subject to an administrative surcharge of 10%, plus any applicable charges for necessary inspection, reworking or refurbishing.

    15. Product Warranty and Disclaimer

    Orders placed for products on LaboratorySupplyStore.com are subject only to the relevant manufacturer's standard commercial warranty terms in effect at the time of your order placement. The warranty terms shall be made available to you to the fullest extent possible through LaboratorySupplyStore.com. We warrant only that the products delivered shall conform substantially to the description of such products as provided on the site. This warranty is exclusive and HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd make no other warranty, express or implied, including any implied warranty or merchantability or fitness for any particular purpose. Your exclusive remedy against HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd and any supplier with respect to products proved to our satisfaction to be defective or nonconforming shall be the replacement of such product without charge or refund of the purchase price, upon the return of such product in accordance with our instructions prior to acceptance. Please retain original packaging for any possible returns. These terms and conditions including the documents or other sources referred to in these terms and conditions supersede all prior representations understandings and agreements between you and HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd, relating to the use of this website, and set forth the entire agreement and understanding between you and HCS Scientific & Chemical Pte Ltd for your use of this website.
